Research Experience: 

Dr. Intan Z. Mat Darus is a Professor at School of Mechanical Engineering,  Faculty of Engineering and Director of Centre of Academic Experiential   Learning, Institute for Life-Ready Graduate, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.    Professor Dr Intan Z. Mat Darus gained her Ph.D.in from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 2004.  

She is currently the International editorial board member of the   Journal of Low Frequency Noise, Vibration and Active Control, Journal of   Artificial Intelligence Research (AIR), Jurnal Mekanikal and Journal of   Institute Engineer Malaysia (IEM).  Dr. Intan Z. Mat Darus has published over 140 journal and conference papers and funded over 30 research and industrial collaboration and consultancy projects in the area of robotic and automation, thermal energy, artificial intelligent, evolutionary algorithm, instrumentation, measurement and control. 

She gained several research and service awards including from the Ministry of Science and Technology and Innovation Malaysia and several research awards from Seoul International Invention Fair. She has supervised over 60 postgraduate   research students since 2004.  Dr Intan Z. Mat Darus had   20 years of program development and teaching experience in the undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia since 1999.
