Research Experience:

Prof. Tian Qiu is a senior engineer of hardware design and algorithm design, and he is the Specially-appointed Professor of Wuyi University.

He gained his Doctoral degree in University of Kent, UK and conducted post-doctoral work there as well. Then he worked as senior engineer at Samsung Semiconductor Korea headquarters. When in Imagination Technologies Group, UK,  he has served as the lead design engineer for video and vision chips Research engineer.

Prof. Tian Qiu published more than 30 papers on IEEE TRANSECTIONS, Journal of Circuits and Systems and other domestic and foreign academic journals. Most of them were indexed by SCI or EI, among which Google academic showed that one paper was cited more than 120 times internationally.

20 patents have been filed (including 3 licensed U.S. patents).
